I have been a professional graphic designer for almost 20 years. Here are some of my just for fun design and art projects.
100 sharpie drawings in the first 100 days of 2019 (18×24)
Alphabet illustrations
These are illustrated letters that I drew with a sharpie on 8.5×11 or 11×17 paper. I scanned them into Adobe Illustrator, turned them into vector illustrations and added color.
Riverwest 24 Events and Party
I was lucky enough to not only bike in the RW24 Bike race but in the years that I did not bike because of knee issues, I was able to add artistically the event. I was heavily influenced by the 2 years that I had a chance to visit Burning Man. I gave out smoothies to the riders, helped out with a block party for the event, wore costumes and added art along the ride including a 24-hour countdown clock.
Illustrations – Adobe Illustrator
These are a series of designs done in Adobe Illustrator. I did about 30 in total but these are a few of my favorites.
Illustrations – Hand Drawn
These are a series of hand-drawn designs that were scanned and edited in Adobe Illustrator.
T-shirts
I have designed well over a 100 t-shirt for fun. These were done using iron-on paper with prints form Adobe Illustrator. After printing out on 8.5×11 paper I would cut the designs into different shapes and apply them to t-shirts. Here are some of the designs.
Big Drawing
I have done a number of large drawings using Prisma colors. This is one of them.
Outdoor Room
I set up my room from my college apartment outside as an outdoor installation.
